Safeguarding GP for City & Hackney

  • Dr Ruth Hallgarten is the appointed CCG GP Lead for Safeguarding Children: rhallgarten@nhs.net
  • Ruth is a Salaried GP at the Sorsby Medical Centre. She can be contacted by email rhallgarten@nhs.net or on her mobile 07817 421 544. Ruth is available to come to practices with Maureen Gabriel, the Designated Nurse for Safeguarding Children, to provide safeguarding updates to practice staff.
  • We are sad to announce that Dr Anne Nesbit, the Designated Doctor for City and Hackney has now moved on to new challenges in Africa. We wish her all the best and would like to thank Anne for all her hard work and support over the years.
